Call their Intake Line and ask for:
Apply for Regional Center Services
I want to start the application process for my child.
Enroll in the Self-Determination Program
Can my child join the SDP? (If under 3 request eligibility under WIC 4512)
Apply for Medi-Cal
I want my child to qualify for Full-Scope Straight Medi-Cal (If your household income is too high request Institutional Deeming)
Get In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)
How can I enroll my child as an IHSS Recipient and a parent as IHSS provider?
The Application Process
Make the Initial Call
Call your Regional Center Intake Referral Line to begin the process.
Determine Eligibility
The intake coordinator will help determine if your child is eligible. You will be assigned a case worker.
Complete Applications
Work with the Regional Center case worker to complete all necessary paperwork and assessments for Regional Center services, SDP, Medi-Cal, and IHSS.
Develop Care Plan
Work with an Independent Facilitator to develop a personalized care plan that addresses your child's needs.
